To welcome Granny home,
Because I heard Mom saying,
The souls of the dead would knock on our door.
Yes, the Halloween has arrived,
Everyone is waiting for that yummy Halloween treat,
Those delectable candies and chocolates,
Delicacies made with pumpkin sauce.
Oh! What fun it would be.
But I am waiting for my granny,
To welcome her home,
Because I heard Mom saying,
The souls of the dead would knock on our door.
I am making a dead velvet cake,
By pouring in drops of my blood,
To present her with love.
I am also making some black magic jell-o-shots,
It would fill her heart with love.
All the guests are arriving,
But I am waiting for my granny,
Because I heard Mom saying,
The souls of the dead would knock on our door.
My best friend is dressed up as a witch,
She thought it would scare me,
But I am waiting for the dead,
To knock on our door.
I am keeping the Jack-o-lanterns aside.
It would scare my granny,
And she would return back,
Without knocking on our door.
All the guests are dancing with joy,
Drinking pumpkin spiced latte,
But I made a special spooky cocktail,
With drops of my blood in it,
To welcome granny home.
I have been waiting but it’s past midnight,
Granny didn’t arrive yet,
But it’s Halloween and she has to come,
Because I heard Mom saying,
The souls of the dead would knock on the door.
All the guests are leaving now,
With their tummies full of delicacies,
But I had hidden blood-soaked cupcakes,
To welcome granny home.
Now I am walking in the graveyard,
Because Granny didn’t show up,
But I heard Mom saying,
The souls of the dead would knock on our door.
I stopped near Granny’s grave,
I could hear beautiful songs being sung,
I took out a knife and cut my finger,
Drops of blood fell on the grave.
Someone touched me from behind,
I felt chills running down my spine,
I turned around and saw Granny smiling at me,
Her eyes were red as blood,
I smiled back at her.
Just when I was about to ask her,
I found myself falling into a grave,
With the souls of the dead surrounding the grave,
They were sealing my grave with the soil,
I shouted for help but none bothered.
I am feeling suffocated lying in the pool of sweat,
I could only see darkness everywhere,
My eyes have no more strength to stay open,
I couldn’t make any more noise,
My body is becoming cold.
I could feel my breath fading away,
I could hear someone calling me,
It was my mom’s voice,
Asking me to wake up,
And prepare for Halloween.
I got out of bed and went to the kitchen.
The aroma of candies filled the kitchen,
And then I heard my mom saying,
Today is Halloween and
The souls of the dead would knock on our door.
