Underneath the shadowed bloody full moon,
The game of blood hunting is played,
The prey lies dead in the pull of blood,
With eyes yet to close and the creature,
Sucking out blood from every nook and cranny.

The smell of fresh blood allures them
And they can shift shapes swiftly,
Like the flowing wind amidst trees,
The night swallows the screams of their prey,
The human howls are muffled with a stroke.

None can hear, none can hide,
The mystery of darkness is on the silent side,
The sunset unleashes mysteries, 
That world doesn’t only have humans,
Yet humans think of themselves as the superior race.

The strong remain silent until its time,
But the weak make noise until silenced,
The ego and pride would stumble down,
If the night cloaks the day and
the sun refuses to rise.

The blood-sucking creatures are on the prowl for thou,
Thy superiority would be kept at bay,
Love thy existence every bit of earth speaks.
Slow down, think over once again,
Are thou really the superior race?

The game of blood hunting is still on,
Tomorrow it could be one with the biggest pride,
Wealth and possession won’t save thee,
Remember, we aren’t surviving alone,
The powerful are salivating to taste thy blood.
