About

I’m Lubna Khanam, living somewhere between words and wonder. This space holds stories, books, and everything in between. A place for soft thoughts, slow reading, and honest writing. Stay a while and wander through.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. It’s quiet, cosy, and a little too fond of words.

I’m Lubna Khanam, a writer who tends to get lost in stories and stay there a while. This space is where those thoughts find a home. You’ll come across stories, book reviews, and reflections on writing, reading, and the slow, curious process of learning.

I’ve always seen stories as small, magical doorways. You step into one, and suddenly you’re somewhere else. Sometimes brighter, sometimes stranger, sometimes more honest than real life. That quiet kind of magic is what draws me in, and what I try to hold onto in my own writing.

This isn’t a perfectly curated space. It’s more like a lived-in one. Some days it’s thoughtful, some days it’s messy, and some days it’s just me chasing the right word and almost catching it.

I’m currently working on getting my debut novel published, which means a lot of writing, rewriting, second-guessing, and then writing all over again. Pieces of that journey will find their way here, too.

If you enjoy getting lost in stories, thinking a little too much about fictional characters, or convincing yourself that one more page won’t hurt, you might feel at home here.

Stay a while. There’s always another story waiting.

Let’s build something together.
